Athens
Flight - Once you are on the ground you will
see one of the most modern airports around. On Wednesday
March 29th 2001 this new airport opened to service
the Athens and surrounding area. It is approximately
40 minutes to drive from to the city of Athens from
the airport. When you are planning your trip to Athens
you should book your flights early.

for traveling. After arriving in the airport you will
find the airport to be very customer friendly. It
has shops, plenty of restaurants and business services

To get from the airport to the City of Athens
there are a variety of ways you can choose from. You
can travel from the airport via taxi and they start
from Door 4 of the Arrivals Level and extend up to
Door 1. You will also be able to travel by train into
the city. The trains run every thirty minutes. There
are also three bus lines that go into the ity and
they all depart from the designated area in the Main
Terminal Building outside the Exit (doors 4-5). You
will also have the option of renting a car to complete
your travel to your destination. Ask your hotel if
there are shuttles available to and from the airport
for the most convenience.
